That was fun. But not really.

With my new companion
Dear Blog readers,

Hope everyone is doing well. I cant believe how fast time is going. I cant believe I've been gone for almost nine months. I'm going to complete 9 months on Annie's birthday- 8/6/2014, weird huh?

This week has been incredibly hard. But I'm learning a lot. I'm learning patience. But I'm also learning that there is a difference between patience and letting someone do whatever they want. So its been interesting. My companion told me she doesnt think the "Senior/Junior Companion" thing is important. So its been hard to get her to listen..

Monday. The first thing we did was rearrange the house/furniture because she didn't like it. I decided to go along with it, because she wasnt hurting anything. Except she moved our studying table into the room that doesnt have a fan...so I almost die of heat when we study. But later we had some good lessons. Except our family of 4 baptism dates told us the dont want to listen anymore...

Tuesday we had our District meeting. That was fun. But not really. Later we ate with the Relief Society President and had a pretty good meeting about things that need to change in our ward and how we can work together. 2 of our other baptism dates moved without warning us. And another Investigator told us hes not really interested...

Wednesday was good. Except we are basically starting from 0 because we lost all of our hard work from the past 6 weeks....

Thursday was a bit better. We had so good planning, some lessons, found some new investigators, had a good Ward Council.

Friday was long and hot.

Saturday was awesome. We had a service project as Missionaries and Youth of the stake. We cleaned the beaches here in Ensenada. We wore "Mormon Helping Hands" shirts and someone from the newspaper took our pictures. Don't know what newspaper though, but I'm sure you can google it.

Yesterday my companion spoke in church. But we didnt have a microphone so no one heard anything. We had an open house and took one of our contacts from this week. it was pretty good.

Not a very eventful week. But there ya go. haha.

I'm feeling good. I got a blessing yesterday from the Elders and feel like I can keep working. I'm learning to be a better missionary. Only the Lord knows whats gonna happen. But I appreciate all of your prayers.

Thanks everyone! Love you lots
