I accidentally got a little sick cuz i ate 4 too many fish tacos

Bueno!

Super Heroes!
Welcome to "write as much as you can remember about this week in 20 minutes." The only bad part about this game is that I'm the only one who experiences it. haha You guys don't even see how fun it is for me! haha

Anyways. Monday: We found the awesomest new investgator. We went to vist an investigator in a sketchy part of our sector and accidentally knocked on the wrong door...in the wrong building.. it happens.. Anyways. A lady answered and told us that we were mistaken, but that she was a member that hasnt been in along time and has been looking for the church. She also told us about her son that wants to get baptized...so that was awesome. We started teaching him and he should be getting baptized in February.
That's NOT a school bus!
Tuesday: District meeting. They made me practice which always makes me nervous but whatever. It went well. They told us that we can now knock on doors. That makes me scared and we havent actually done it yet. There just isnt time!

Wednesday: We had our investigator's baptism interview. It went. Nothing else too interesting. Ward Council. They pretty much let us talk for a few minutes and then forget everything we tell them... Its awesome.

Thursday: Planning day! After that we spent a long time walking around because all our citas fell through.
Found a Utah licence plate!

Friday: We had a conference all morning where we basically learned what to do in case of a shooting, robbery, or kidnapping. Its a presentation that the Church sent to all the missions. It was super fun. Then we had LUPITAS BAPTISM!
Baptism!
yay! It went really well. She had a fever and a really bad cold all week. but about an hour before we went and she got a priesthood blessing and everything went perfectly. She felt fine.. She is the cutest thing ever. In her pictures she looks angry but she isnt. She is such a happy person just doesnt smile in pictures. :(

Saturday: we finally were able to have a lesson with someone we contacted a while ago. She is awesome. Says she isnt ready for baptism yet, but she'll get there. :) Also we waited a million years for the hermana to have our food ready so we got way behind in all our lessons.

More Superheroes!

Sunday: Didnt have a lot of investigators come. Thats always sad. Then I accidentally got a little sick cuz i ate 4 too many fish tacos. But nothing serious. Just a little stomach ache. I made my companion go to the Stake Council with another hermana while I laid down for a bit. haha

This week I had some experiences working with some investigators that made me realize how evil Satan really is. He is fighting so hard right now. But one thing I realized is that he has 0 power over us if we dont give him any. I just want to encourage everyone to keep praying. Keep reading the scriptures. Dont be ashamed of your beliefs. Dont worry what "The world" thinks. Thats when we fall. I love all of you and thank you for your prayers and help here!

Sorry for the lameness...

Hola amigos!

Sorry for the lameness these last couple weeks. Its been a little crazy! Actually super crazy! Lets see what I can remember from the last couple weeks.

Basically all thats important from 2 weeks ago was the conference i went to of leaders. I was the last one there because my ride showed up 20 minutes late and everyone looked at me when i walked in..that was embarrassing. Cant remember if i sent pictures or not...  also we started teaching a new family and thast awesome..

Monday was a super relaxed day. It was awesome. We did everything normally, just had a little time to lay down and relax. That almost never happens. Our Noche de Hogares didnt really end up happening though so that was sad.

Tuesday was zone conference. Heard pretty much the same things that I heard in the conference last week, but it was fun anyways. We were able to take one of our new investigators to the Relief Society activity and she kinda loved it so that was great. I love seeing the people we are teaching get a long so well with other members.

Wednesday a lot of citas fell through, so we had a TON of lessons with less active members.

Thursday Another new person, then intercambios!

Friday I had to go work with the Hnas en Dorado. It went well. They have some good investigators and are working well as a companionship. I enjoyed my time there. My companion did really well without me here too. good to know i have someone i can count on like that.

Saturday work like normal. NOt a ton of succes..

Sunday. 7 Investigators in church. We are working really hard because we have some great baptisms cmoing up. i´m super excited. Just mega rushed. Sorry letters are getting so lame.

Love you all bye!

But when they started dancing we had to leave

Buenas tardes Familia!

This week was super fun actually. It was really great. Usually the last week of the transfer is super stressful because you are worried all week about " The Call" On Saturday. We always stress about if we are going to move, who is going to come, etc. But this week they had us so busy we didnt even have time to worry that much about it.

Sunday after church they called to tell us that the Hermanos from Utah were here to build houses and that some of the sisters wanted to go on splits with us. On sunday we couldnt but we started on monday.

Monday they told us we would only have 1/2 a Pday again because New Years we werent going to have to work. So we hurried and got everything done by 2 so we could start working with the Hermanas at 3. We picked them up at the church and started with our citas. When I was in the middle of the lesson with my new american friend (who spoke a little spanish) an Hno from our ward called to ask where i wanted to meet to pick up the Americans that were going to accompany us....haha There were more. So, because I couldnt get a hold of my companion, I ended up working with 3 Americans and Hna Wiscomb with 1 that spoke really good spanish. It was quite the adventure. Very fun!

Tuesday we had the District Meetin and then met up with the girls that were going to accompany us that day. They were so cute. But neither spoke a lot of spanish. But they were super cute and really fun to work with. When we were on our way a mom cornered us in the parking lot and took a picture to send to my mom. I'm sure it was beautiful because it was starting to rain and I didnt have my umbrella.

My new poncho
Wednesday we only worked with one girl. So we didnt split up. She just went with us both. But it was fun. I think she enjoyed it. We werent able to have a ton of lessons, but it was a fun day. Later we went to the fiesta that they Americans were having to celebrate New Years. But when they started dancing we had to leave. haha But before I left a bought a sweet poncho. It was cool. The people knew the americans were there and in the stake center every dya so they put their poncho stand outside. haha tons of people bought them though!

Thursday! Feliz Año! They called in the morning to tell us we actually would be working that day but we had until 6 to do what we wanted to do and talk to our family if we wanted. We only ended up being able to see one person because the entire world slept all day and then went and hung out with their families. It was a fun day. We did some shopping and I was able to buy a new blowdryer because my other one died. We ate at Applebees. It was delicious. Thats pretty much it...
Happy New Year!

Friday and Saturday. Back to work. We had a couple citas in the morning and then I had to go to Tecate for Intercambios. The day before there was snow there but it was all melted by the time I got there. :( It was pretty warm outside but freezing in their house. At night it was fine because we slept with the heater on, but in the morning and at night studying and planning was horrible! The work there was pretty good. I met some awesome members and their dogs. It was fun. But the busride is 1 hr and kinda boring. Saturday night they were supposed to call and tell us about transfers but something went wrong and we didnt hear anything.

Sunday we started church at 8:30 but miraculously still had 6 investigators come. It was kinda great. The DL called us at 11 to tell us about changes. Hna Wiscomb and I will be staying the same here in Tijuana for 6 more weeks. But, they decided to make me Sister Training Leader. So that will be different. Quite the change. Lots of responsibility but it should be good.

Things are going really well here. It is getting really warm. This week should be pretty hot I think. I'm not excited. I like the cold a lot better. I dont like church at 8:30 because I dont get to study in the morning. But i'll get used to that too.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year.
Thanks for all the love and support.
Love you!
