Sorry about not writing last week. I felt lazy. But life is good. I'm doing very well here in Ensenada. Even the "hot" days aren't very hot. So its pretty amazing.
Monday last week we went to Costco to print pictures. Good news! The hot dogs and churros at Costco here taste the same as the Costco in St. George. jaja. Felt a little homesick there for a sec, but then I was fine. :)
Tuesday we had Zone Conference so that was super awesome. But not really.
Wednesday my companion got really sick. So we didn't work much.
Thursday we did Exchanges. I worked with Hermana Diaz. She is super great. So amazing. She helped me a LOT.
We have already established that I don't remember Fridays...
Saturday was J's Baptism. It was really great except for one thing. J didn-t show up...For the 3rd time. This time he had a legit reason though. The people at his work had some major problems and didn-t let him go until they got fixed. We waited at the chapel for him until 8:30. He got there at 9 and no one was there.
Sunday we had a lot of investigators at church so that was awesome. J came and was super sad that he couldn't get baptized. So after church he had an interview with one of the elders and later with the Bishop and we baptized him right there and then! It was so great. We have worked so hard with him that the joy we felt was overwhelming. We still haven-t stopped smiling.
We have another baptism planned for this week. And one for the week after.
Life is good. We just found the most golden family of investigators. Pray for me and my investigators and I will pray for all of you!
