But when they started dancing we had to leave

Buenas tardes Familia!

This week was super fun actually. It was really great. Usually the last week of the transfer is super stressful because you are worried all week about " The Call" On Saturday. We always stress about if we are going to move, who is going to come, etc. But this week they had us so busy we didnt even have time to worry that much about it.

Sunday after church they called to tell us that the Hermanos from Utah were here to build houses and that some of the sisters wanted to go on splits with us. On sunday we couldnt but we started on monday.

Monday they told us we would only have 1/2 a Pday again because New Years we werent going to have to work. So we hurried and got everything done by 2 so we could start working with the Hermanas at 3. We picked them up at the church and started with our citas. When I was in the middle of the lesson with my new american friend (who spoke a little spanish) an Hno from our ward called to ask where i wanted to meet to pick up the Americans that were going to accompany us....haha There were more. So, because I couldnt get a hold of my companion, I ended up working with 3 Americans and Hna Wiscomb with 1 that spoke really good spanish. It was quite the adventure. Very fun!

Tuesday we had the District Meetin and then met up with the girls that were going to accompany us that day. They were so cute. But neither spoke a lot of spanish. But they were super cute and really fun to work with. When we were on our way a mom cornered us in the parking lot and took a picture to send to my mom. I'm sure it was beautiful because it was starting to rain and I didnt have my umbrella.

My new poncho
Wednesday we only worked with one girl. So we didnt split up. She just went with us both. But it was fun. I think she enjoyed it. We werent able to have a ton of lessons, but it was a fun day. Later we went to the fiesta that they Americans were having to celebrate New Years. But when they started dancing we had to leave. haha But before I left a bought a sweet poncho. It was cool. The people knew the americans were there and in the stake center every dya so they put their poncho stand outside. haha tons of people bought them though!

Thursday! Feliz Año! They called in the morning to tell us we actually would be working that day but we had until 6 to do what we wanted to do and talk to our family if we wanted. We only ended up being able to see one person because the entire world slept all day and then went and hung out with their families. It was a fun day. We did some shopping and I was able to buy a new blowdryer because my other one died. We ate at Applebees. It was delicious. Thats pretty much it...
Happy New Year!

Friday and Saturday. Back to work. We had a couple citas in the morning and then I had to go to Tecate for Intercambios. The day before there was snow there but it was all melted by the time I got there. :( It was pretty warm outside but freezing in their house. At night it was fine because we slept with the heater on, but in the morning and at night studying and planning was horrible! The work there was pretty good. I met some awesome members and their dogs. It was fun. But the busride is 1 hr and kinda boring. Saturday night they were supposed to call and tell us about transfers but something went wrong and we didnt hear anything.

Sunday we started church at 8:30 but miraculously still had 6 investigators come. It was kinda great. The DL called us at 11 to tell us about changes. Hna Wiscomb and I will be staying the same here in Tijuana for 6 more weeks. But, they decided to make me Sister Training Leader. So that will be different. Quite the change. Lots of responsibility but it should be good.

Things are going really well here. It is getting really warm. This week should be pretty hot I think. I'm not excited. I like the cold a lot better. I dont like church at 8:30 because I dont get to study in the morning. But i'll get used to that too.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year.
Thanks for all the love and support.
Love you!
