Mexicali is starting to feel like home

Hola familia! And who ever else is bored enough to be reading my blog.

I'm only supposed to tell you positive things and experiences. However, Im going to break that rule. Shh dont tell Presidente. I'm not going to lie, this week was pretty hard. Our investigators decided they werent ready. So we still haven't had baptisms. The weather has been super whack (really really windy. Which is why Mexicali feels like home..haha). I've been sick this whole week. Like a really bad cold. It's pretty miserable. And I'm not accomplishing my personal goals. So I have had a really hard week, but it's okay. Becuase the Lord still loves me and He still blesses me every day.

Okay. No worries everyone. I'm good. Its all good here. Missions are just hard. SURPRISE!

Okay. Lunes after writing we did some shopping. For groceries...y shoes..oops. We "needed"shoes for the conference we had Wednesday. Annie would love the shoes I bought. They are red.. :) Im in a different place today and dont have my adaptor. So I dont think i can send pictures. I'll have hermana b send me some so i can send them to you. Anyways. It was good.
Red Shoes

Martes...Creo que nothing happened...shoot. I have a bad memory.

Miercoles was good. Except in the conference they asked who has never had a baptism. Guess who was the only one who raised her hand..yeah. That was embarassing. Then they tried to make me feel better by saying that its okay because Im new. That was worse...
With Hermana Carreon (Pres' Wife)

My Hermama and my sisters. The 3 missionaries Hermana B has trained.

Jueves. We didnt have 2 baptisms that we had planned. So that sucked.

Yesterday we had 4 investigators in the Reunion Sacramental! Also we have 2 new baptism dates. So that rocks. There are good things that happen every week. Every day. I just have to remember to look for them.

In the conference, the Mission President told everyon that they have to start working harder on their English. Which I love and all the Spanish Speakers hate. Now every time we make calls to tell the district leader about our week, it has to be in English. I love it. I like to speak really fast to make elder Gallardo understand how I feel. haha.

Oh..Elder Gallardo went home today. Hes our district leader. So thats sad. We have transfers or changes or whatever their called in the US today. But Hermana B and I are staying the same for 6 more weeks. So thats good too.

Sorry this letters is kind of rambly and all over the place.

Love you all!
